Because I know you people never get tired of pictures of my family. Hey, sue me…they’re my most very favorite photographic subject(s). This pic was taken on Saturday at Colt State Park in Bristol, Rhode Island on a postcard-perfect early Autumn day. One of my goals in life is to find somewhere where the year-round weather is much like we experienced here in New England on Saturday, Weekends like this one make it really, really easy not to miss Florida (though hurricane season helps out a lot with that, too).
I share your desire to find year-round Autumn. The closest I’ve found is the Central Coast of California, where the temp almost all year is about 40-50 at night and about 72 during the day. The remainder of my family-of-origin are located there. It suffers from the huge disadvantage of the lack of New England flora, however.
Jeez, look at li’l Terry and li’l Allen! I know it’s cliche and all, but the image frozen in time of your two girls is worth a thousand words. Even if I didn’t know any of you, I could spot the thoughtful, considerate Kelsey and the “wait for me to pull something crazy” Laurel a mile away.
I could stare for hours at Baby Holt 2.0′s crooked grin and Big Sis’ soulful, pensive mug.
Man, do I need to get me a couple of kids. You guys can guarantee I’ll bring home a couple of stunners like yours, right?
